Well, the sex scene was cut down to acheive the PG-13, as well as some other scenes I believe, so yah, I think Fox'll re-release it as a 2-disc director's cut in another like 5 months (since it came out at the very end of November and Fox seems to like the 6-month period to re-release).
It's been known for a while now, but there is no release date to it.
Yeah, just wait until after the big holiday rush. They did this last year with "The Day After Tomorrow", "I, Robot" and "Man on Fire". They are all now 2 disc in the "Fox Criterion Collection".
