But why not include the commentary? Just doesn't make much sense.
I had the original and this re-release is a major improvement in my opinion. Number one on my list when double-dipping is image quality. I am not a big fan of commentaries so I picked this one up. The print definitely looks cleaner to me and it seems like the colors are quite a bit brighter.
I have the old one and I have no reason to upgrade and the old trasfer is cystal clear on my T.V .
Was going to get it, but it didn't have the commentary track from the previous release so no sale, at least not until its in the really, really cheap bin or I find it used for under $5. What a waste...
Ohhh. Okay, just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one, or maybe it was a Canada thing or something.....:D
My brother-in-law picked it up and it was a single disc as well. I guessed they had a 2 disc planned but maybe scratched it at last minute and decided to go with the single disc.

Has anyone picked this up? I just did and its a single-disc release. The post from here said it would be a two-disc set...
