MGM UE for R2 will be custom case like that which will translate into a real Digipak in R1 and R3

See Raging Bull: CE for example...

Isn't there already an Ultimate Edition of T2?  I can't imagine they could do anything more for it.  It already has 3 versions of the film on it.

He was referring to the two-disc UE of The Terminator in R2, which from what I gather is pretty identical to the double-sided, MGM SE here in R1.

It depends on what you like, go for the package? pal or ntsc?

I tended to go for the 'package' + 'quality' so R1 for me, although I'm currently living in the UK at the moment...I tended to buy more stuff from R1 US and R3 Korea, HK more than R2 here, I hate the 'rating logo' on the cover so much!!! Please take it off...?!?!

Also usually UK packages are not as extravaganz as Korean, US or Japan...!!

England is bloody hot right now!!!

Only original artwork I like, I hate anything else put on that cover...it disrupted the artwork...

A lot of 'collectors' hate it too, I'm likewise hate the logo very badly...

It's something called 'appreciation of art' you know...?!?!

May be you should try and check out Korean and Japanese Limited Edition,

I'd probably say Japan has the best Limited Edition set in the world...

Sony seem to be going all out to re-release anything they can now they've got the MGM catalogue. The amount of old releases with extra minutes and non special features is so transparent and grasping of them. Particularly as they are gearing up to release them all again on Blu-Ray. 10 extra minutes on The Patriot. Whoo Hoo!

Despite Sony making good TV's and cameras their view of their customers is offensive. I've seen this first hand as I have been present at a number of their promotions to industry bods. The events are geared up to how much they can get from 'early adopters' (BluRay and PSP) and untapped resources. I know they're a business but seeing this sort of corporate nonsense first hand does make you despair. It's kind of like hearing someone who is planning to f**k someone over and tell you exactly how and when they're going to do it. (Before they've dressed it up in PR spin and advertising). You kind of have the urge to warn people to get out the way quick.

That may be true but I hate it when the menu is in Japanese and you don't have the faintest idea what you are selecting or going to watch.

Yeah, but usually ppl don't buy premium stuff to watch really?

Premium Box is for displayed, and buy normal dvd to watch...

Well that's doesn't apply to every box, some box, but I know what you mean...

Well, ummm...cases like Schindler's List Gift Set, you want to display it but not to touch it very much, since it's so fragile

So you have another version, in this case the Korean superb Digipak version which is less fragile and I bought it anyway because it's very beautiful

So I watched the korean version rather than complicate myself and open in and out of the glass box too often...

and you can't really watch Sonny's head or Alien's Head (this one despite can open rather not to hard) can you (just kiddin) haha !!!

You know what I mean!!
