From what I saw from e3, I'd go with PS3. The Xbox 360 looks like nothing more then a watered down PC. By the way, I'm not a fan boy either way, I have both Xbox and PS2 now, I just love games.
The abilities that have been alluded to of the PS3 seem incredible, past anything demoed by Microsoft, and their system is supposed to be out this Christmas. Seems pretty rushed to me.
The only questions I have are a) Price, if its $1000 canadian after Tax, no thanks - and b) Will it come with the Hard Drive. It would be truly stupid of Sony to make it a separate product from a consumer level. I don't think more will be learned until the Tokyo Game Show later in the year.

360 for me at the momment, mainly because Microsoft are showing me what I'm going to be playing on Xbox 360 on launch day (I.e actual Gameplay footage) were as Sony are showing me pre-rendered videos of how they would like the games to be on a console with no release date.
im probably getting both a launch (and the Revolution) but right now the better choice for me is PS3
I'm getting a PS3 deffinalty....x-box360 mabey. PS3 is more powerful and it has Blu-ray.
Yeah...it is
PLaystation has always been ahead of the competition, and they will comtinue to be ahead cause Sony needs playstation. I remember reading that playstation accounts for near 50% of Sony's revenue. Sony will have to keep ahead to make sure they don't lose that their share of the gaming market. As for microsoft and the X-box, lets say that Bill Gates won't have to go back to generic toilet-paper cause x-box goes under.
Hmmm - nowadays I don't even get time to play computer games, let alone watch dvd's...
gotta get a life
gotta get a life
It doesn't really matter to me because eventually I will get all the consoles as they are released.

Well because this generation, I hustled just to own all the consoles. And by hustling, I mean that I would sell my PS2 so that I could get an Xbox, then sell my Xbox to get a Gamecube etc. I finally decided to stay with a PS2 but I did realize that it's better for me if I just get all three upcoming consoles so that I don't see myself in the same predicament as before. It's cheaper this way.
