Now I realise some of these may have been mentioned already, but I'd really like to know when these are going to see the light of day on R2 DVD...

Sin City Extended
Twelve Monkeys Special Edition
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair
Poltergeist
Red Dwarf Box Set

Anybody any ideas?

Heck, I'm still wanting to know when we're gonna get the Whole Bloody Affair here in the states.  Haven't bought the first discs yet, am holding out.

I've recently had to give in, and fork out the bucks to order outside my region.  Was just too stubborn to do it before.  Enjoying my Phantasm Sphere set very nicely because of it. Happy

Sin City is already available in R2, just not in the UK. Multi region players are about £25 now though, so if you haven't got one it's worth spending the cash.

I remember breaking down to pay for Kill Bill vol 1 when I heard the Japanese edition was different.  I still think it will be the closest thing we could get for a while to the definitive movie.  It took forever for some of Tarantino's movies to get good releases and then they came flooding out in.  Maybe we'll get The Whole Bloody Affair when Grind House comes out.

Yeah, I didn't for a long time either, basically over the reliability of the players I had to play non-region one discs; sometimes they'd work and sometimes they wouldn't. Ever since I got a decent one, I've been ordering from Amazon UK on a regular basis to get stuff not available here. Last week I got around to ordering The Descent two-disc SE after noticing the price had dropped to just under $10 USD; there for a while it was nearly $30.
