One week away...
Here's to hoping I'm all kinds of wrong about Universal's handling of Kong. Well, first I hope it's good, then if it is, I hope it makes all kinds of money. I know I'll be there day one.

i go to..but what is up with all those Dinosaurs ???????????????????????????
I'm gonna try, if I can't catch it in theaters, I'll get it on DVD.
I'm definately going to go see this. I'd like to opeing day, but I can't as I have finals to take.
My dad absoutley WILL NOT see this (it's actually kind of funny). While it does look pretty good, I haven't been as jazzed about it as everyone else, so I'll probably wait until DVD.
If all I hear is true, this must not be missed on the big screen ...the bigger the better.
Everytime a movie is almost out in theatres, I always anticipate the next ones that will come out, for exemple, King Kong is out in a week, but I'm looking forward to Underworld Evolution
I just got this back from the frame shop. Looks incredible in my office.

I hope that isn't too big!

Did you ever see the original? There's a whole bunch of dinosaurs in it.

Also, I just saw the trailer for the Producers. I think I might catch that one too for being a fan of the play.

I can't wait. Like what Michael Jackson once said "I'll be there!"
Anyone seen it yet? I was tempted by the midnight showing, but a midnight showing of a 3 hour movie makes for a very long night when one must go to work the next day!
Didn't get to see it. Might see it while I'm on vacation. Do they have any good theaters in the Orlando area?
I went to the midnight showing last night. Totally worth getting home at 4 in the morning for. Definatly in my top 3 movies of the year. If I werent such a Star Wars nerd it might be my favorite movie of the year.
There is way too much snow around here for me to risk life and limb. I hope King Kong understands.
It's all icy near my home after the snowstorm on Friday. We got about like 6 inches.
I happened to see the midnight showing of Kong and I was pleasantly surprised. I had low expectations going in due to some poor trailers, but overall, it was enjoyable. A fun flick to watch. Naomi is awesome. Kong looked awesome. Jack Black isn't that great. Aside from a few technical issues I had with it, I enjoyed it. 7 out of 10.
I'll be waiting till Saturday to see it so that I won't have to deal with huge crowds.
I have to wait for the weekend also as I promised the six year-old I would take him to see it when I did for the first time...otherwise I'd be skipping out of work one afternoon this week to see it.
Jesus Matt, it's gonna scare the s**t out of him!
No, I don't think so...he's got the same tastes in movies as I had when I was his age and handles them about how I did. He prefers more advanced movies to actual cartoons and the usual kid flicks, Lord of the Rings, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Star Wars are his favorite movies, and he's been asking for weeks now when this is coming out.
Oh bless his little heart for liking Hulk. the other ones are the usual kid stuff, but Hulk? That's a cracking smartin' you've got there. Personally I was affraid of loud noises as a kid, so the THX promo scared me enough to keep me away from scary movies.
The only thing that concerns me taking him to see King Kong is the hour it supposedly takes for Kong to show up. I think it's great that Jackson is taking his time and not showing his monster too early, but Chase may be squirming in his seat until hour number two kicks in and the real action starts.
honestly I wouldnt worry about the little one. It isnt scarry
I find it interesting...Kong only took in around $10million opening day. Now of course, that isn't good or bad, but I was just expecting that it would be bigger. Oh well, the weekend approaches. I s'pose we'll be finding out soon.
KONG takes in $9.8mil

It's a busy time of the year for some people. It's hard for people to get away on a Wednesday night with holiday parties, school plays, exams, etc.
I expect Kong to do well this weekend.

That's not bad considering most people are at work on Wednesday.
