Ong Bak DVD
I recently acquired the limited edition Ong Bak R1 DVD in a tin casing. Really cool! Actually I had wanted to get the R2 or R4 2-disc edition. Does anyone know what is missing in the R1 version, apart from a shorter running time? What were the things that were edited out from the uncut international version? How about the extras? Are they worth getting?

North America got 3 minutes less footages than the original shot. The features are the same, as far as the tin casting, only Canada has it. The tin case looks like the Australian cover. US got the standard version box. Canada has the standard and the limited tin case.

I guess mine must be from Canada then, and yah, it had all the minimal features like the regular US version. But the super awesome tin case was really neat.
You'll know if it's the canadian tin if it has a lot of distribution stuff on it from Alliance Atlantis.
Other then their promo's and whatnot, the content is identical to the US version.

By looking at the compare.net site, it seems that Australia got the best copy of them all.
