Internet petitions are good for one thing and one thing only--wasting bandwidth.

And I still don't see why people get so worked up about artwork--or special limited collector's editions in cheap fragile packaging with a bunch of c**p thrown in that only jacks up the price and leaves you with more useless junk that you don't have the room for either. It's not as if either of these things enhance the enjoyment of the actual film once you pop it in your player, unless you're one of those people that gaze longingly at the DVD case, stroking it oh so gently while you're watching the movie. I guess then you'd have a reason...

Don't say it in such a patronising tone! There are tens of us all over the world!

So you are not partaking in the LE Blade Runner set I'm guessing?

I'm not, but that's a different case (if you'll pardon the pun). That set actually features content that's not available elsewhere, so it's really not the same thing at all. If you could get the same thing in a digipak for £20 less then you'd have a legitimate argument.

No, I'm not getting the Limited Edition Version of Blade Runner, but I do have the five-disc Complete Collector's Edition on Blu-ray pre-ordered from Amazon and for less than half the price of the standard edition LE. Same content and all of the discs, I don't have to find some place to put the awkward case on my shelf, and I'm not having to pay double for useless stuff I might look at once--not to mention having every iteration of the movie in hi-def.

I don't see what all the fuss is about with the POTC3 cover art. It looks fine to me.

Why is there such a surge in wasteful, child-like posts lately?

No one gives a damn who you hate or don't hate. There's absolutely no reason to announce it to the world.
