It'll be region one if it's anything. No one is supposed to have access to BV's retail site nowadays so I can't check.
I hope whoever posted this at Home Theater Forum can do this again, but also with other studios especially Fox. So that they can't screw us with another edition of a dvd release. I hope there's DTS in this release come May 2007!

One would suspect that if this was a true release, that the third disc would have snippets from the new 3rd movie due next year...
I think it's genuine as they released the first film as a 3-disc set in a similar manner. Remember? "The Lost Disc" Anyway, Gore Verbinski is my hero and new idol after having seen what he went through during the production of Dead Man's chest, so i'll get this as fast as I can if it turns out to be true.

Buena has confirmed it's a fake. They have no intention of releasing a 3 disc set. My source is ultimatedisney.com. I thought that cover looked a bit fan created.
I figured that particular cover was fake because it didn't even specify what film it was. No label saying "Dead Man's Chest", only "POTC". However, I have no doubt they'll release a 'better' version eventually, either before "At World's End" or for the Boxed set next christmas.
