Nope. I already checked that one out. And it's real bottom barrel SF. And it's not Queen of Outer Space starring Zsa Zsa Gabor (which deserves a DVD release). I also know it isn't Cat-women of the Moon.
"Fire Maidens from Outer Space"?
No this was made before Vin Diesel was born. It's a black and white, American late 50's film. The more I try to remember, the more I recall that the alien underground community consisted only of beauty queens. No wonder it's stayed on my brain all these years. Would love to see it again
it reminds me of Pitch Black
but I dont think thats the one you want

I've been trying to identify this late 50's SF movie with no luck: A group of astronauts land on a planet. The sun is so intense that if you do not keep yourself in the shadows, you get burned to a crisp. I seem to also remember alien surface rock creatures and a humanoid underground civilization.
I love those cheapo late 50's SF films and I'd appreciate your help
