Prince Caspian DVD
December 2nd people, Disney is releasing "The Chronicles Of Narnia - Prince Caspian" on 1-Disc and 3-Disc DVD and 2-Disc and 3-Disc Blu-Ray. I cannot wait, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cover art.

You know...that would have been a good cue to actually post a picture of the cover art.

Or, you could get the Japanese DVD/BD or 3-Disc set released November 21st:

Three-disc limited edition DVD release of the hit film "The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian." featuring the main feature, tons of bonus footage, scene introduction, art gallery, and more! Features O-ring designed digipak case, 30-piece art and picture set, and 8-page booklet.

Are we calling it a hit? I mean, it's far from a bomb, but if a flick grosses more than 60 million less than its production budget domestically, isn't that kinda less than a "hit"? I mean s**t, Superman Returns grossed 60 mill more than 'Caspian', but cause the production budget included wasted money from previous false starts, it was labled a bomb.

Sorry all. Rant over.

I'm not calling it a hit, although i'm a huge fan (saw it 5 times), CDJapan is calling it a hit. Wink

Prince Caspian had to make 500 million dollars to go plus, so Disney lost 100 million dollars on the film. It'll be a hit on DVD though, and there's a ton of merchandising, so they'll make it back in the end. VDT will hopefully be more successful as it's released for Christmas instead of during the summer as PC was.

Anyway, here's an even bigger pic of the 3-disc set:

Meh, it was an ok movie. I thought the first one was better. If you're a fan of the series though I can see how this might be a must have.

Is that blue cover the Japanese version or the U.S. version? I like it and will pick up the 3 disc set.

US...The superior cover (and less blue) is the Japonese one.

Are they trying to color-code their movies LOTR style or something (in LOTR's case it was FOTR-green TT-red ROTK-blue)?

Strange. From what I can see in Amazon.com, the 3 Disc cover is Red. I think the Red is better.

I don't understand all the hate toward blue. The limited edition is crimson blue too! A sick color! Some of you people have no respect for colors. I am so disappointed. Blue is my favorite color so I might be a bit biased though.

On a side note: Reepacheep was awesome in the film. He is my favorite character in the books.

I do think the 3 Disc art is better, but I would still like to have the original poster art like the first one had. The poster rocked, I have it on my wall, oh well, at least Japan got it. And also it comes with that stupid Digital Copy thing. EVERYBODY is in on it now. I still want the 3 Disc though. Who knows? Maybe they'll reconsider the art before it is released. And I didn't really have the art to post at the time. And here's the 3 Disc art I saw.
