You can fold on the PS3 as well, quite a benefit...
(natively)
Yeah but the PS3 is so much cooler.
It should be noted that an Xbox 360 does all of the above mentioned that the PS3 does, including Xvid and Divx playback.
There's a GTA IV now?

So basically if I want a Pork chop toastie I'm screwed if I don't have a toaster. I'll still get one probably, (game machine/blu-ray player) YAY.

Yeah, but still no audio support for WMA Pro files Sad
Did anyone mention GTA IV?

No? GTA IV?

Oh wait...GTA IV?

But it does make a mean Pork Chop.

But it would be nice to have a Blu-Ray player that isn't going to be redundant in a year or so.

Yep. That's exactly why I bought Region A PS3 - now it can do everything, okay it can't bitstream HD Audio, but I think I'm happy enough with LPCM decoding.

I was planning to buy Panny BD50 but well that was before DTS-HD MA came to PS3
Yep, it's always having firmware updates.

Yes it does, same with standalone BD Players, Upscale your dvd as well...
Upscales them too.
Get one now. Hippy
BD is backwards compatible with DVD.
PS3 question
I know that PS3 plays BluRay dvds but does it play standard dvds??
