Psycho 4 was a made-for-cable movie and therefore a 4:3 aspect
A fairly decent series of sequels never coming remotely close to the classic original

Well as a fan of Anthony Perkins I will buy it. I am excited.
We've had it as part of the Psycho Collection for a couple of years (and on its own disc, as all the others are). For a cable movie it's a worthy addition to the series and worth owning.
So... will there be a box set of 1-4... finally for us silly americans??
I'm surprised that they don't wait though, to release them all together. Isn't "Psycho" coming out on the Universal Legacy series in October?
I keep hearing that but they've got nothing on *any* of their sites about it. Not even their distribution site.
Well if you haven't seen Psycho IV your not missing too much
I disagree.
Psycho IV was one of the best horror prequels I've ever seen and it brought a wonderful close to the Perkins series. Plus he got off some fantastic lines. Mick Garris really did the film justice and the cast was pitch-perfect. Henry Thomas as young Norman and Olivia Hussey as "mother".

Well Psycho IV when you watch it closely it strays from PSYCHO.

In August, a two disc, three film trilogy of the Pyscho sequels will be hitting DVD from Universal. No extras, of course but on the plus side; it won't be on dual-sided discs.
