Yeah, it's sad. Funny guy.

The last few years were bad while he battled from MS - I had a close friend who died of the disease....
He's moved to a better place

One of the best comedians of our time.

RIP....always remembered
I just got home and found out about it. Too bad, the man was a great talent. RIP
I don't mean to sound crass, and the man was a genius, but this has been a long time coming. The poor guy wasn't in very good shape for most of his life (2 heart attacks, MS, drug problems, ON FIRE).

MS is a terrible disease, and now its taken one of the greatest standups of all time
I wouldn't call myself a huge Richard Pryor fan but I can't help but comment on the excruciating scenes they continue to show of him in the latter stages of his terribly debilitating disease on these exploitive "news" programs. At least Nancy Reagan had the decency to shield her husband from the lens of these "ambulance chasers" when her husband, Ronnie deteriorated due to alzheimers. The man deserved more respect than that. Its interesting how the entertainment industry just feeds off its own. Quite disturbing how little respect they have for each other.
