I didn't know you're a fan of our Steve Irwin, Tony. Otherwise, I would have posted this terrible news here. I was in complete shock when I heard it on the radio on the way to work in the afternoon, I sort of cried. He is a true legend for caring for the environment as much as Ian Kiernan(the founder of Clean Up Australia Day which many countries have adopted) did, if not more.
He will be sadly missed by many around the world.

There's already a thread in the general forum:

Great men...did lot...RIP Steve [']
Didn't look there, but thanks Mal

Steve Irwin was a star, he was an extrodanary man and entertainer, I feel for his family at this sad time and hope that they get some comfort that Steve will never be forgotton, always remembered as a great entertainer and professional man. When you here the name steve Irwin he will be remebered with a smile as the crazy man that always said "criky". He will be missed everywhere. he was a legend. RIP Steve Irwin.
F**k Steve Irwin
Well, well... Six posts and banned. Good going.
Wow we saw a lot of spammers and people who attack others this month. Saying that is like saying that about Chuck Norris... you deserved to be banned from the site
Geez - someone needs a straight jacket....
RIP Steve - Crikey, you will be missed!

It is a shame. I liked the guy, and no one could not appreciate his love for his job. He was a pioneer, and although he has been poorly copied by many on tv, he can never be replaced. Although he died doing what he loved, it was a real shame to lose him. I feel mostly for his wife and children.
RIP..you will live on as I watch endless hours of crocodile hunter on animal planet
So sad! His message will never die!
