Seperate Areas
There are so many DVD's being released now that it sure would be nice if the Films and TV shows had seperate areas for new release/news listings. I despise all these television show DVD's and really dont have any interest in them. I used to visit the site daily for news on film releases, but now the tv crap clutters up the site so badly I am lucky if I bother to visit once a week.

This is why there is a website called tvshowsondvd.com for those wanting only news on tv shows being released on dvd.

Hmmm, I wouldn't say TV stuff is cluttering up the front page by any means. Look at the region one section tonight for example. I can only see two TV announcements, the rest (18 or so) are all film related. We only tend to add the major TV announcements anyway. We leave our friends at TVShowsOnDVD to add all the others!

Funny, I count no less than 15 TV entries on the front page.

As for your "Major TV Announcements" I see these classics named

Truth

We've details and artwork for the upcoming Korean TV drama

Emperor of the Sea

The latest KBS TV series is a period drama with English subs

Yeah, this is a major announcement alright. I bet they are both on the top of everyones buy list...The rest of the TV announcements are crap too, but at least its american crap.

If you don't like it, don't read it. There are many of us here who like tv news as well as the latest movie news coming to dvd. saves us searching other websites for news, especially for die hard fans of particular tv shows and/or movies out there. I am one of them. So if you don't like it, then ignore it. You don't have to read all the news. If fact almost all the dvd news websites have tv shows on dvd news included.

If you had read my post you would see that that's exactly what I am doing. I no longer come to this site for my DVD info.

Urmm yeah, but you're counting all three region sections. Do you only expect the Asian or UK markets to release American stuff? This site does cater for people other than Americans you know!

If these posts are indicative of your attitude that's no bad thing. This is a DVD website - we publicise DVD releases. It's not hard to comprehend. There are plenty of people who are interested in the DVD releases of television shows - be they mainstream or otherwise - and those that aren't have mastered the art of something called 'selective reading'...

Cheers to that. Chris and Tom, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the best dvd website I've ever used in my life. I love all things region 1 dvd's and your website is always up to date, and where I can pre-plan what I want to buy on dvd. And my favourite is this General discussion. Your other loyal customers has helped me a great deal in learning more about dvd's and home theatre which I haven't known previously. I can truly say there is nothing wrong with your website. Tv shows coming out on dvd is just going to get bigger, and I'm very interested in them too. If I may speak for all the fans here, keep up the good work!!
