Strangest DVD release ever ont he MTv Spiderman. They releases a very affordable Complete Series release, and then months later releases 3 different 3-episode DVDs of the same series. I dunno what they were thinking, but it seemed like backwards marketing.
I agree totally with you ,I also quite like the MTV series, I`ll buy this new series simple because its Spider-man..

Well considering the MTV was a c**ppy tie-in for the movies and timed for DVDs and whatnot, I wouldn't expect this to be any different, unfortunately.
Wonder if this will be like the c**ppy MTV cartoon or the excellent 90s cartoon.
Spider-man New Animated series
The Hollywood Reporter says Sony is creating a new animated Spider-Man series:
Sony Pictures Television is becoming the first major television studio to enter the direct-to-DVD market for series. SPT has launched Culver Entertainment, a company focused on developing and producing drama, comedy and animated series exclusively for DVD and international distribution. The first project under the Culver Entertainment banner will be a new animated Spider-Man series. The first 13 half-hour episodes of the show are expected to be released next year.
