That might be what the fans really want but ole Georgie will probably just include ugly versions as "bonus features" Wink

I want "The Star Wars Holiday Special" included.  However that will never happen!

The original Anakin Skywalker ghost back at the end of the remastered Jedi. It was about the only thing that I genuinely hated about the redos...

Oh, and the Muppet Show episode with Luke, Chewie and the droids on it...

I hope we get an offical release of "The Star Wars Holiday Episode".  However I do get a kick showing it to people who have never have watched it or don't remember it being so bad!

I think once you buy the Star Wars Box Set, you should be able to send a "proof of purchased" for a mail order of Sea Monkeys , but instead of Sea Monkeys, it would be for a Tauntaun.  When the Tauntaun grows, you trained it to kill all the Ewoks!

Never mind that, there should be a mail-in so you can get all the money you spent on the previous faulty releases returned to you... Oh, that and an apology for Jar Jar.

The Star Wars Holiday Special

The Original Star Wars Saga

The 30th Anniversary Star Wars Saga redigitized, re-CGIed, improved and revamped one more time all over again.

New Documentaries.

Old Documentaries.

Deleated Scenes... all of them, c'mon George, we know you have them.  Show us Camie, Fixer and Biggs on Tatooine, and the Snowtrooper/Wampa stuff, and the Desert Storm from ROTJ.

A thing (toy, statue, prop, figure, etc.)

A preview for the episodes 7-9 with new CGI Han Solo doing some cool stuff.

Well someone e-mailed me that a "6 Movie" disc set will be out by October.  However he seemed to think that there would be a making of documentary for EACH movie!  The original movie editons will also be included for "each movie".  He also said that NO WAY IN HELL that we would ever see "The Star Wars Holiday Special" ever released. In fact when any acotor talks on camera about the "holiday episode" is edited out!

He says he hasn't herd if they will be remastering  the original trilogy movie editions! However A NEW HOPE is the center part of this set!

If they can't release the holiday Special, they could at least show the Bobba Fett cartoon and have  a featurette on how bad the Holiday Special was.

A personal check FROM Lucas for the money I wasted all these years on the different versions
(video, laserdisc, DVD)

Especially the last one having to actually BUY Phantom menace AGAIN in order to get the long awaited original version from '77. Why wasnt it just packaged for 9.95? He could have sold millions of copies.

Actually I am quite happy with the DVD's of all 6 I already have.
The behind the scenes from the new films is just about the BEST behind the scenes  collection I have ever seen from ANY other studio--they should all take notes on how to put together a behind the scenes disc

Other then all of that whining about the money I am looking forward to the live action TV series in 2009.

Imagine ---all new adventures in a boxed set of 25 episodes each PLUS behind the scenes......
bring it on George...my credit card awaits.

Why would you buy Episode I on DVD to get the original '77 version of IV?

well- here in the states (at least in Ohio) ol' George packaged the original '77 version we've all been waiting for WITH Phantom Menace in a limited time only 2 disc set.

The same held true for Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (ponied up together with the appropriate matching episode from the new films)

So as far as I knew- you HAD to buy both (and I already HAD Phantom Menace)in this combined 2 disc package.

(fortuantely I only wanted A New Hope- fortunately I also knew someone who could just burn it for me- forcing me to break my long time vow (just this once) never to go down that dark path of buying 'burned' DVDs....
but theres no way I was going to pay 19.95 for not only a DVD I already owned (Phantom Menace)
but for something I had already paid to see....
...a dozen times when it was in the theater
 ...and then on video
....and then on DVD
...and now AGAIN in a combined 2 disc set)

so I bought it burned and it sits proudly in my private collection

why couldnt he just simply sell it for 9 bucks in a single package?

And then they wonder why practically everyone burns movies...

Well, here in the states, just below Ohio (in Kentucky) I could not turn around and not bump into a display stand selling the original release Star Wars DVDs in individual cases with no extra DVD forced upon the consumer.  I did buy mine at the local Wal-Mart because it had the option to get some action figures with them, but the individual DVDs were also available there.
