Commander, tear this ship apart, and bring me the passengers, I WANT THEM ALIVE.

Commander, tear this ship apart, and tell the rebels they're being UNFAIR!! I HATE THEM!! Hey, is that my old robot? 3PO! 3PO! Don't run! Come back! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Ok, it'd ruin the films, but if it was an alternate audio track, I'd be all for it. Imagine the option of watching the film with a b***hy Vader.

He'll go ahead and finish what he started by going back and digitally making Darth Vader a whiny b***h in Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.
What changes do we all think Lucas will make this time around? I'm guessing their'll be some cleaning up of digital characters on TPM. I"m also betting they'll change up Jabba in ANH again.
I can't wait for a complete set. Better not screw up this one.

Back at the start of November, Van Ling was quoted as saying he'd already started work on the DVDs of a six-movie set to be released in 2007, under the working title of "The Saga is Complete".  It's been suggested by Lucasfilm -- not officially announced, though -- that a version of TPM with a fully-CGI Yoda would make that set.
I think we've all discussed this before. Anyhow, WE DO know that there will be yet another release of the movies in the future. Smithers himself even admits this in the bonus material on Sith. Will that be on DVD?

More likely on Blu-ray. There was talk a few years ago that workers at ILM had leaked that they were working on a CGI yoda for Episode I, and that has apparently come true. It was also leaked that there will be a 30th anniversary set that has both cuts of the movies (including the prequels), the final (yeah right) versions of the special editions (including prequel special editions) and every star wars making-of they've ever done, all in one huge uber box set.

Hopefully it's true.
After recently releaseing a second version of the box set of the first 3 movies, I would say that it would be quicker than 2007....
I'd only consider it if the original trilogy are given the 2 disc treatment.  Those deleted scenes are out there!  And how hard can it be to cobble together a few retrospective commentaries?

Just curious if anyone has heard about releasing the full saga on DVD as a 6-movie set?
