Stargate SG-1
Does anyone know when season 9 is going to be released? I heard that with the whole MGM / Fox thing going on that they don't even know who is going to release it.

Not sure, we'll hopefully be launching a Stargate related contest soon, but that's nothing to do with season 9.
What kind of contest?
We are giving away the first eight seasons of SG-1 in the new slim designs - they go on sale next week.
I heard they are gonna be way cheaper!! Hell yeah!!!!

Maybe now I can afford to get all the season I am missing!

We limit them to the countries that the sponsors are willing to ship to, so a UK sponsor only wants to target the UK and sometimes Ireland, whilst US ones target US and Canada. Australian distributors aren't really up to much in comparison to the UK and US, which is unfortunately why you don't see that much from there.
We could potentially do our own global competitions, although my main concern is we would have to look into the various rules relating to international trade. I am pretty sure we could face fines if we shipped a prize to an address in North Korea or Iran to give some extreme examples.

Aussies are allowed ro enter the contests of the digitalbits website, though. I have yet to win one. Some aussies did get lucky though.
Thanks for the responce Mal. When you do go global with these, don't forget your friends in Australia as customs are pretty good here, unless you have a prize which may involve interesting positions with a goat
