no I am talking about a coming attraction trailor that runs 2 minutes
He means the Theatrical as opposed to the Teaser Trailer. It should drop sometime in May.
From Comingsoon.net
ComingSoon.net's Superhero Hype! has confirmed that the new Superman Returns trailer will be enclosed in the can with Paramount's Mission: Impossible III, opening next Friday, May 5th and will also be attached to all prints of WB's Poseidon the following week, on Friday, May 12th.
Warner Bros. has the trailer listed as 2 minutes and 28 seconds. Theaters will have access to it in digital format, so if you have the chance to catch Mission: Impossible III on a digital screen (it's going out to 135 digital theaters), then definitely do so!
Superman Returns flies into theaters, IMAX and IMAX 3D on June 30th.

Its on line now hurray
It actually looks pretty good, although Superman looks a bit young. Still, one of the only mainstream films I'm really looking forward to this year.
It looks a lot like Superman The Animated Series. I'm really getting revved to see it.
I really liked the first couple of movies and I'll probably see this, but honestly I've never really cared for Superman as a character all that much---I prefer my superheros to be good at one or two things and more vulnerable. Take The Flash for instance...he can run really fast, but that's about it. Can't fly, doesn't have heat vision, isn't basicaly indestructable, yadda, yadda, yadda. I mean, when you have virtually all of the super powers of virtually every other superhero around and can only be hurt by a rare kind of rock it kind of takes the fun out of it all. Why couldn't Superman's weakness have been seeing the color red like Super Fuzz?
I can't get these to work at work, but I'll check it out later. I've become such a Justice League fan-boy over the last few years that I tend to not warm up to different renditions of the characters. I really love Bryan Singer's work, I just wished he'd stayed on the X-men films. I don't understand how this movie can cost so much though, after promotional costs it's likely to top 300 million bucks. That's ridiculous.
LOL at Kevin Spacey "WRRROONNNGGGGGGGGG!"
The trailer definately makes me want to see this movie even more. I agree with Gabe though in wishing Singer would have stayed with the X-Men franchise, I've always been a bigger fan of X-Men than Superman. I think the reason why is because in this Superman movie, there's only one villian who has been used before: Lex Luthor. The X-Men franchise, on the other hand, has a plethora of villians, and I love how they concentrate on Magneto being the head with his "followers".

Superman has a plethora of villains that can be utilized as well. If this one does well, I suspect we might see one or two of them in the sequel.
Truth be told, the flying fx look a bit funky to me. Looked like a doll was flying in a couple of those sequences.
I'll be checking it out but I'm not all that psyched about it.
