Most of those will be awesome. I've seen a complex list of next summer and it looks pretty good so far.
I doubt Indiana Jone 4 and Die Hard 4 will be made in time for Summer 2006 though.
Don't you guys think that there are already too many sequels, and not enough original films?? We should be pushing for more original screenplays, etc.

I don't know about you guys but I'm looking forward to Ghost Rider.
Halo fans,
The new Halo movie is scheduled to come out Summer 2007 (It's far away, but it's big news)

Same year Vin Diesel is making the movie Hitman based on the video game, but in the video game turning movies genres, I'm looking forward to Dead or Alive.
So many video games are turning into movies like Doom, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six and Dungeon Siege to name a few.

I've all but given up on Xmen 3 after all I've heard, but am actually becoming more interested in the new superman film. I see no need for Indiana Jones or Die Hard sequels. Sin City 2 and 3 should be good. Not very excited otherwise.

You know what sequel I want? Final Destination 3. Perfect series for never ending, silly sequels. Is that this year or next?

a) Yeah Ghost Rider looks awesome. I got to see the teaser the few hours that it was on certain websites.
b) There are tons of video-game-movie adaptations coming out. I found a list recently and here's what's official:
Max Payne
Dead or Alive
Halo
Hitman
Doom
House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim
Silent Hill
Dungeon Siege
Splinter Cell
Rainbow Six
There are tons more but you have to hunt down the links on IMDb, by Year.
c) Last I heard, once Munich is done, Spielberg will start filming Indy 4. Lucas has already started, so I hear.
Also, Frank Darabont offered to write the screenplay but they rejected him. They're also deciding whether Ford will do his own stunts or if Connery will do one final role in the film.

About Rainbow Six. It's going to based on the BOOK by Tom Clancy, not the game. It's a great book. My favorite of Clancy's.
BTW, from what I heard from the fans, so far, Tom Cruise is supposed to play Master Chief and Ridley Scott is supposed to direct.
This year was the prequel Carlito's way Rise to Power straight to DVD. Next summer, DePalma is doing The Untouchables prequel Capone Rising. I wonder if also will go straight to DVD?

I don't believe this for a split second.

House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim
that doesnt sound right, Dead Aim was a Resident Evil game not a HotD game

Eh, it was a tentative list from movies.com. Then again, we could check IMDb and see what happens.
(You'll notice that Halo already has a "Self-Appealed" R-rating, while the film still comes out, far in 2007.)

I bet it's gonna have an almost identical MPAA rating, as the one that Doom has right now.
It'll be PG-13, I'm willing to bet money, and I've never played the actual game, just the VS combat.
So Far summer of 2006 is not doing that great
MI3 didn;'t do that well
Poseidon was a bomb
X3 opened well but it looks like it will sink fast.

How about this? The Break-Up grossed an estimated 38 million for it's opening weekend, beating X3 which grossed about 34 million. Look's like it will be this year's Wedding Crashers.
I just rented Bloodrayne. The dialogue was so bad. So bad that it's actually funny.
I do have to give a bit of credits, the killing/blood splatting scenes where pretty well done.

I actually think the movie to beat this summer will be Disney/Pixar's Cars.

i think that Superman will be a good movie, its going to do dissapointing things at the boxoffice. The one to beat this summer will be Pirates 2. I also think that Clerks 2 will do great at the boxoffice but it will be a huge dissapointment.
