well im glad i held off on them but it seems kinda odd that they wouldnt do like an ultimate box set when the DVD release of the new movie comes out. Or are they?
I would like to buy them around there too.
I'd pick up a complete Donner version of II, which would hopefully pay Gene Hackman to fix up some things that was fouled up in the original cut by that joke impersonator. If it were necessary that is.

I have no interest in the other two movies though.

Oh and you're right Chris, outstanding restoration of the first one. Very Happy
Already own all four and they'd have to do something special for me to buy them again. I'd like the 'Donner Cut' of II (maybe it'll happen now that Brando is brown bread), and all those deleted scenes from IV with the first Nuclear Man etc. Although to be honest, it's only really part II that interests me. If they do a good job it will be worth upgrading, as the restoration jon on the original film is still one of the best I've seen.
Superman sequels WILL get the SE treatment
I read in DVD review that the Superman SE's are all but guaranteed to get the SE treatment around the time of the theatrical release of Superman Returns.
I would expect a similar format to that of the Batman franchise.  Whether we'll see the unused Marlon Brando footage from Superman 2 remains to be seen.
