Will there be any Special Edition of the first three movies since the new movie is coming out?

New Line might be waiting to see how the new Sony film does theatrically before they plunk any dough down to release SE's of the trilogy.

I think it's more likely that we'd see new DVDs of the old films released around or before the new film's DVD release. By then, it will be more than clear whether or not 2007 marks the return of the turtles. If this new venture bombs with audiences and critics, New Line might not think that they have a worthwhile audience to cater SE's to.

I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best.

That is because he sounds to much like Corey Feldman.

let's hope this new TMNT movie sparks the release of the original cartoons in nice boxsets instead of the lame 1 disc testers. And a two disc of the first movie only.
