It really is starting to be revealed how shady the Weinsteins are when it comes to their DVD releases. First the whole Kill Bill debacle (anyone else remember the exec blabbing on about how many releases they can milk out of that flick?), then Grindhouse and now this. Hell, this is more of a reenforcement for me to support BluRay instead of HD-DVD; just to spite The Weinstein Company.

Yesterday it was announced that it will be re-released in December as a 5 disc package, the additional material to be announced shortly. WTF? Six days on the shelf and already it's planned to be obsolete with a superior version within 2 months,
The company producing this set is called Genius Productions.Well to the geniuses running the company, I refuse to shell out another $50 in december (I would have spent that last week) but I refuse to buy any product you ever release in the future.
