Wow... well if they're gonna go that route, she's a hell of a lot better than Holmes. Kudos Noland!
True, but I wish they'd have cast her as Dawes in the first place, instead of having this jarring continuity...not error, but it's noticeably a different actress. That's what I hated about the old ones, they were always different people from movie to movie, zero continuity.
Although I have every confidence she will pull it off quite nicely in the end.

i trust nolan on this one and i think he'll deliver an original view of the characters but the movies are all f**ked up.plot wise.
How do you mean?
as long as the general tone of the first film is upheld i can see this beinganother great movie. Much better than the Tim Burton efforts.
Does the ugly rumour of Sarah Michelle Gellar in the film have any substance or is it just a thought that was passed off as rumour and spread like the plague?
What seems to be a pic of Heath Ledger as the Joker (from afar)

That's a very old fake...
Is that the official Joker image?

Does anyone really think that looks like Heath Ledger in the slightest?

It may not look like him, but it's gotta be official. I mean, the WB logo is there, you can't fake that
There have been leaked photos though. You can find them in a lot of places.

Not happy that Ledger is going to play the Joker! He is an ok actor but to pull off playing such a complex character as the joker needs the talents of a seriously good actor! How about Peter Sarsgaard? I think he is a great actor! Maybe he is not a big enough draw for Warner? Edward Norton would be a good choice but he going to play the Hulk! As for Ryan Phillippe no no no! Aron Eckhart for me!

Did anyone else click on the logo and see what pops up? Try it...
Then, go to THIS site, and debate whether or not it's legitimate, and if it's not, why the WB hasn't had the site shut down yet.

They should just make the Grayson film. The one from the great trailer on YouTube!

That trailer is awesome, and proves that Robin (if handled correctly) can indeed work. But let's see these movies first shall we?

It's really big, so I put the link instead of posting it (got cut off on the sides anyways)

I love the fact that he's on top of a police car.

Spoiler Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) has been seen on set.
My theory (for those who care to read it):
Spoiler Scarecrow and the Falcones are on one side of a gang war. The Maronis and the Joker are on the other.
Just a thought, probably wrong.
New pics of Heath Leger as Joker on set:

The wait for this movie is killing me.

As for Heath Ledger, I was skeptical when I first heard it, but after awhile of thinking it over, he could be very good as teh Clown Prince of Crime. He is obviously a great actor and should mix well with an already stellar ensemble cast (except for Katie Holmes).
Really don't like Ledger as JOKER--even after mulling it over. He a good actor but don't think he's right.

Damn... I wrote that a year ago tomorrow... How time flies...
Well... Everything we have seen has told us that Ledger is going to be amazing in the movie. What is it exactly that you don't find right about him?
Well, it's been 4 months, and with December just a few days away, I figure this needs a well deserved bump.

So who wants to bet some serious cash that there'll be some legit footage attached to Sweeney Todd on Christmas?
And that Empire cover is f**kin awesome twisted, but the colors are a liiiiiitle to bright for the subdued palate from 'Begins'

The point maybe? Like, make him stand out in Gotham? Just a thought.
I was disappointed with the cover honestly. Expected a lot more. I've already seen him like that, I wanted a huge grin on his face, or something like that. But I'm not complaining, it's a pretty great cover.
They've filmed a "prologue" apparently, and it's supposedly going to be attached to the IMAX prints of "I am Legend".

I like the darkness he seems to bring to it, I like the totally insane, coldblooded mass murdering bit... so far it seems it may be the best Joker (my opinion only).
I still don't care for the odd bullit hole through the cheeks scar. I hope it becomes an open grin, more like the comics.
Batman Begins was top notch, and Nolan did a perfect job on it, so I still give him a free pass on the desisions for the second chapter.

I like this one better... The other one was too staged, and yeah, the colours were off, in this one it does match the tone of Batman Begins.

I'm also quite excited about Eckhart as Dent, I'm really looking forward to it.
As for Gyllenhaal, well, I said what I had to above, but I'm sure she'll be good.
