It's got a fairly poor transfer compared to the R1, the film is spread across two discs and it doesn't have any of the worthwhile extras from the R1 release.
Chris why did you find disappointing the R3 edition?

It's feature-length and very good. I got the R1 after the disappointing R3 because of that (well that and the fact I wanted the film on one disc).
It's about 90 minutes if I can remember correctly.
The Departed 2 disc SE
On the R2 two disc se of the Departed the doc about Scorsese is 20 mins. One of the DVD mags in the UK stated that this doc would be 60 mins! On my copy it is 20. Can some one please tell me how long this Scorsese on Scorsese's work is on the R1 2 disc se. I would like to know because if it is longer I will be forced to buy it.
