I want this!  I have seen boots selling on e-bay on DVD but come-on!  The first 2 "Godfathers" are classics!

It`s only the three films put in chronological order from Vito arriving in America right through to Michael`s Death, I believed it was put together like this for US TV and was shown in the early 90`s .. Personally Godfather part 2 is 1 of my Favorite films and I like it just the way it is , 2 stories woven together...
I can`t see it getting an offical release.

I agree. The Godfather II works better in its theatrical form. I once felt that watching the films re-edited in chronological order was the best way to experience the Godfather Saga. I had that impressive set on VHS a few years ago. But what makes the "Godfather II" so powerful is the tapestry that Francis Coppola weaves to show the parallel rise to power of both Vito and Michael Corleone. I think chopping it up and putting it in order takes away a great deal of emotional impact.

The extra footage is included on the 5th disc of the DVD set.
