The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Does anybody remember Nick Park saying that there was going to be a US special edition DVD in time for Christmas? It's probably a bit early to be posting this since they haven't said anything about it yet, but do you think that this is still going to happen? Also, does anybody have the link to where Nick Park said this? It was in an interview I believe... maybe on the Douglas Adams Continuum (whose forum has recently gone kaput)
The main reason that I think (and hope!) that this will happen is that before the original DVD was released, Nick Park was talking about some special features and deleted scenes which were going to be on the DVD release (Humma Kavula's song, for example, which right now can only be heard on the HHG movie soundtrack CD) that never turned up on the DVD which was released this fall. I've been holding off on buying the HHG DVD (even though it was my favourite movie so far this year) because I suspected that they were going to do a double-dip
