Aye the film's well sound. I love the director's previous effort, Memories of Murder, so was looking forward to this at the EIFF. Stayed by for an informative director's Q&A afterwards.

It's quite an unusual hybrid. I actually see this as a family melodrama with a monster in there somewhere. There are also touches of social and political messages throughout the film. The CGI was not amazing but I'm not that anal to be honest - I was more than satisfied with Spiderman, Hulk etc.

Check this film out. Thoroughly recommended.
