Region 4 Australia also has "The Island" on DVD available from last week.

Because Warner came to China last year and began distributing R6 DVD directly in Chinese market, they release a R6 DVD as soon as it is available and has passed the censorship board. Sometimes a new title will be released on the same day as US theaterical debut (for those low-budget films that have no plan to release in Chinese cinemas).

The price for single disc edition is around 22 Yuan (about USD 2.9), most of them in PAL colour with forced Chinese subtitles. Soundtrack usually available in Mandarin and English.
