The Larry Sanders Show Complete Collection UKR2
After years of shameful neglect (for this show on DVD) that has included poor quality region 1 DVD's, a pathetic 6 episode 'best of' UK R2 effort, it finally looked like fans of the show were going to be rewarded for their patience.
The Complete Collection of shows was released on region 1 last year with a mountain of extras.

Then we learnt that the release of Season 1 & 2 were being released in the UK. Fans must have rushed out and snapped them up on day one. I didn't do that due to lack of funds, and then it transpired that the complete boxset was being released in the UK as well. Fantastic. Not fantastic for those who'd just spent their hard earned on Season's 1&2 though.
With the announcement of the release of the complete set, it became apparent that the remaining seasons would might not be released as individual sets and that those who had bought seasons 1&2 would have to, in effect, re-buy them if they wanted the rest of the shows. So far, so badly handled by the distributor.

Now, although unconfirmed (but most likely true if past form is anything to go by), I've read that the UKR2 Complete set seems to have none of the extras that the R1 has.
Can anyone confirm this?

If true this is is like some sick perverse joke by the distributors of this title. The Larry Sanders Show, while not as popular or as widely known about in the mainstrean as say for instance, Seinfeld, was (and still is) one the of the most critically acclaimed comedy shows ever made. Fans have waited sodding ages for the release of these episodes and now, when all seems to be put right, the UK distributors seem (if reports are correct) to have cocked it up for all us UK fans right at the finish line.

Well bravo chaps. Well done for dropping the ball.
