Season 1's Kermit box (fuzzy version) was sold in a lot of Best Buys from what I remember and the version I have is non-fuzzy standard.  However Season 2's Miss Piggy box was pretty much the fuzzy version everywhere.

Fellow fans of The Muppets won't have to wait for another two years for the next season!

"Season 3 of the 1970s syndicated variety show will reach stores on May 20th. The 4-disc, 24-episode set (SRP: $39.99) will include the bonus documentary "The Making of The Muppets", "Muppets on Puppets" with Jim Henson and characters, and "much more" to be announced."
