The new release of the Star Wars Trilogy
Has anyone seen the new three-disc limited edition star wars trilogy box-set? Are there any differences in the films themselves then the dvd versions released last year? Is it the specal edition? I was just wondering.

The set is just the previous boxset minus the extras disc along with new artwork. Apparently it is a limited edition and only available for an unspecified period of time, but it is not in place of the last boxset.
are they in individual slipcases, or are is this one of them fold out deals?
I havnt even seen it in person yet
They're packaged in three Amarays, just as they were in the four disc set.
Is the artwork for the three films, the three original posters?
Dunno, I didn't take them out of the box. I doubt it though, seeing as they're just repackaged from the four disc set.
While I was in my local Wal-Mart, I found a television where the episode iv dvd from this set was playing. It appeared to be the 1997 Special Edition release of the film. The other thing I noticed was that the picture quality was EXTREMELY POOR. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, when I thought about how prestine the film looked on last years release.
Then it clearly wasn't the DVD, as these are the same discs as the previous release.
