It would do well with horror - imagine the smell of a rotting corpse!

And I didn't even mention porno Wink
I thought that "Smell-O-Vision" was a joke, like: "Oh, now we have movies in 3-D, what next? Smell-O-Vision?". Damn, that's funny that it is out there. I could see this easily crashing and burning though. I mean, if there was an option to see the movie in Smell-O-Vision or not was available, ok. I'd try it, but if it bothered me too much, I'd probably never do it again. This seems very movie specific though, like, how can they have a smell for when Superman is flying around Metropolis in "Superman Returns"? I know they're not smells of the film, and I think that that may be its only weakness.
Nobody does it like William Castle. Doing this sort of thing today just sounds silly.
Didn't they use this with "Rugrats Go Wild" too?
They have to invent something to get butts in the seats.  I went to see a movie last night and for 5th time, I was the only person in the theater.
