The Simpsons season 11...
Anyone got any idea as to when this might be coming out??

Apparently none, I read they were gonna change the style after 5 sets.
Yeah I'd say they might just go back to the boxes only for the next season seeing as all the family has been done...unless they start on other Springfieldians...I vote Moe
I skipped all the "head boxes", and am glad the regular boxes are suppose to be the norm, I like the collection to match.
I'm freely admiting some episodes in some seasons lacked something, but I will continue to be picking these up.

I'd guess the reason for the delay on this set is because they were busy working on the movie and didnt have time to do things like commentaries.
Be interesting to hear them talk on episodes that aren't as highly regarded as some of the earlier ones.

Personally I think the seasons in the middle of the series were the best, but I of course have been picking them all up. How can you not?
According to tvshowsondvd.com the 11th Season will be released on the 7th of October. They don't have any details on extras yet for the moment.

god that was aweful.
If they do it again, I'll be sticking with the old school boxset.

I'm steering clear of season 11 for the time being, heard too many bad things about the shoddy packaging. If Fox have dismissed public reaction and 12 is done in the same style, then my Simpsons DVD collection will go from 1-10 and I'll just watch the rest on TV.
