The only thing I remember from going to see this is Woody Harrelson blowing his ass off with a grenade and......

......fields of grass blowing in the wind.

I also vaguely rememeber nodding off a couple of times.

One of my all time faves. Cant wait for this on Blu-Ray. I hope there are all the cut scenes on this edition. So many famous faces left on the cutting room floor.....

I've always been a big fan of Criterion. They have been fantastic this year, and their (speculated) upcoming titles later this year are fabulous.

The Thin Red Line is up on Criterion website, and it should be included in the September release. I predict Still Walking, Videodrome and Hausu for September (announcement is today), and perhaps Fish Tank as well.

Just picked up the blu-ray. My Best Buy had it out on the shelves a week early :D

Also grabbed American Beauty, Seven, and The Secret in Their Eyes. I got some watching to do.
