The Worse Movie title & your Alternate Title.
What movie do you think had the worse movie title? My #1 choice is "Romancing the Stone". I think that movie would of made more money if it had a better title to me would of been "Amazon Tresure", "Joan in the Jungle"

But Stanton, the point was that Turner's character was a romance novelist.

At least 2 Fast 2 Furious attempts some originality, unlike the the first film which was carbon copy ripoff of the superior Point Break.

Way to take a great original title and turn it into trite and boring.

"Amazon Treasure", "Joan in the Jungle" Did Stanton work for Ed Wood?
WHen I worked at **** we did testing on sush things as titles & movies as well. We hbeld up "Romancing the Stone" as the example of a bad movie title. 80% percent of men and 70% of the women hated the name and refused to see the movie because of the title. (Michael Douglas wanted the title to change as well) The only reason the title stayed because nobody could come up with another.
Did you suggest "Joan in the Jungle" to them? How about Joan's Jones for the Amazon Stones?
Well, considering only 20% of men and 30% of women didn't find the name too objectionable to see the movie, it made a tidy $114 million worldwide, not bad for 1984. Of course, you wouldn't admit to a bit of exageration eh?
MARIA FULL OF GRACE...!!! Just sounds very dodgy!
Ok, that does it, I hate this thread.
Wait Gabe! maybe someone would like to re-title "Hannibal" as "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner!" Ahhh maybe you are right.

Guess Who's Serving Guess What for Dinner sounds better to me.

Better yet, "Who's Being Served?"
We need one of those "wah-wah" trombone sounds.
"Rambo: First Blood Part 2" struck me as funny!
