They Live on Blu-ray
Apparently it's coming in August Happy One of my favourite Carpenter films, alongside The Thing, Big Trouble etc.

But will it require special glasses to watch?

I see Escape From New York and The Fog are also being released that same day. Hmm...

Cool. I'm less of a fan of those two, but I like EfNY well enough. The Fog just never scared me. I wonder if Prince of Darkness will see BD? Big Trouble is the one I want!

They Live have been accompanied by Prince of Darkness in the past, so hopefully, it will be added too. (?)

I love They Live, it's one of my favorite Carpenter films also, although my absolute favorite Carpenter film will always be In The Mouth of Madness. (Closely followed by Starman, Halloween and the Village of the Damned remake)

Big Trouble is one of the strangest discs I have - it has 4.1 DTS!

Indeed it does, even if it shows up as 5.1 in PowerDVD. Fox labelled the Dolby as 5.1 on the packaging as well, but it's not.

They screwed the pooch with the They Live BD. I'll go into it in more detail in the review, but suffice to say it's another Escape from New York.
