I can beat that. Over the last 10 years I bought 400 or so DVD's and then wouldn't you know it, last year they go and start releasing the same stuff on HD. I've only just barely got shut of my VHS and now this. Unbelievable.

This situation you been in?
This has happened to me in a few cases. I bought region 1 DVD of Star Kid recently because I thought it would never come out here in the UK after all that time. Then, I get the news that it is (first hinted this on the BBFC website). So, maybe I would probably buy it and keep the region 1 case (the region 2 case looks just like the VHS release here).
