The recent R1 2-disc SE of "Three... Extremes" features both the the short and extended feature-length version of Dumplings.

Review/comparison here.

Thanks...I will.

I think Dumplings is about an hour longer in the full version:

That's where I got my copy, it's currently about £4.60 plus P&P but you need a multiregion player and make sure you order the DVD rather than the VCD.

I actually own the 2 disc special edition from CJ Entertainment.
Is there an actual difference in running time to the short Dumplings, and the version released as a stand alone?

Can you buy Dumplings seperate?

E2 is worth getting for Cut (directed by the guy who did Old Boy) which is the 3rd film on the disc. Mal is right about the extended Dumplings though, it is truly an amazing film and much better in it's extended form.
..there's also about 50 movies called Last House on the Left 2, most of which were made before the original, and in some countries Profondo Rosso is called Suspiria 2, even though it came first and they have nothing in common beyond the director.

What they are calling Three Extremes 2, is actually the film that came before Three Extremes. It's called Three - I've never actually thought about purchasing it myself as I never considered it to be as, well, extreme. Happy

Here's a few links that might help. If you enjoyed Three Extremes, check out Dumplings - it's an extended and very different version to the short:

Three (2002): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0324242/
Three... Extremes (2004): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0420251/
Dumplings (2004): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472458/

Three is available now if you have a multiregion player, here's some releases:

This reminds me of how distributors used to rename unrelated zombie films to try to make them look like sequels in the 80s.
