I must say, that after looking at those pictures, that I like the R1 packaging better than the R2. Well, that is, except for the discs. Your discs look better (minus the rating logos - that's the one good thing about the MPAA). The R1 packaging is a little more simpler and more quite as busy. But still, you got the 4th disc, and it does look beautiful! Very Happy

Yeah! gotta hate the rating logos...I never understand why they can't put it at the back of the cover?!?! it's more or less destroys the coverart. I've got this set and also the R3 set, which looks the same as the US one. So i'm set for this Titanic release.

Well, it's a long story. Since I only come to live in the UK for a while (big while), before I lived in Thailand all my life. A lof of my dvds are R3 Imported Fox, MGM and WB.

A lof of ppl here including me tends to buy a lot of Region 1 DVD too. Since there's a lot of shops back home that sells R1 DVDs and you can find R1 dvd as easy as R3. However, it's a lil pricy as well!

So eventhough i'm in the UK. I'm still keep up with my collection back home too!

For those that purchased the film first time round, I recommend buying it again. The picture and sound quality are in a completely different class to the original release.

I wonder if they would consider putting out a disc with just the ship sinking on it?! Cut all the rubbish at the beginning, and get to the REAL reason you wanna see the movie!! Oh, and maybe this version could be sans Celine Dion also. Song does my nut!
Having said that, I will be getting this. The set looks awesome. And to seee Cameron doing what he does best, ohhhhhh.....joy!

Oh god it's not back again. How the hell can it have an alternate ending? The ship misses and doesnt sink after all? What alot of bouncy balls. That of course is just my opinion.

Is that a joke?  A five-disc set?!
What's on the fifth disc that isn't on the other four?
