Transformers Blu-Ray Rebate
Hey all!

Anybody get the new Blu-Ray version of Transformers and have the 2-disc regular one? What is the Proof of Purchase they're asking for?

I haven't bought the BD yet because I want to make sure I can take advantage of the rebate, but I can't see a proof of purchase tab anywhere on the packaging of the 2-disc version.

The one that I have has a slipcase on it with the Proof of Purchase being on the slipcase.

It's somewhere on the clear plastic slipcase? The only thing I can see that could be it is the numbers below the "S" in the "Transformers" going vertically. Is that what they're asking for?

No, it should be on the back.  It'll be in a dotted box that says Proof of Purchase in it.

You're talking about the 1-disc version. The 2-disc slipcase is completely clear save for the outer rim, which is silver.

I don't own the single disc edition of that movie.  Perhaps ours are different?  I just asked somewhere and this is what I got from asking:

The POP on the 2-disc set is located on the paper insert that was not affixed to the case. It's the paper that looks like the backside of a dvd case with the synopsis, specs, and movie credit stuff. It has a picture of "Sam" holding the cube. Hopefully you all saved it like I did!!  But I also hate to cut the POP's out. Makes it look yucky!! I'll suck up the $10 and pass the DVD version to the kids room.

Son of a b***h. Yup, I must've thrown it out.

Oh well... I'll just wait for the Super-Duper Edition that's definitely going to be released sometime down the line.
