They look fine if you live in the UK. Mal will need to take a look at the regionalisation side of the site for competitions. You shouldn't even see them if you live in the US and haven't altered your profile to show UK/World content.

It should be fixed now. The contest/competition section is still a two column fixed layout, so it's not as flexible as the homepage - main reason being the lack of content on the US side.
