Excellent news!
Story of my life... I just got all the Transformers and now this. I hate to double dip for it, so it will really need to have a plethora of features and extras.
Well both the previous releases suck in the A/V depertment, so I'd consider this well worth the upgrade if you are as annoyed as I am with the transfers.
I just hope its not a port of the R2 Metrodome version Chris reviewed.
Could be great
A quote from my review:
Quote: All-in-all this is a good, if not outstanding release of the movie; one that should please die-hard fans and casual viewers alike, at least until the twentieth anniversary edition arrives in 2006. Now there’s wishful thinking for you.
I guess that wishful thinking sometimes works (unless G Lucas is involved)! Nothing on the various PR sites about the release yet, bu here's hoping for some decent interviews, a commentary, maybe an isolated score and most importantly, a decent fekkin' audio-visual transfer!

Ah ha! I missed that part. It had been a long time since I actually read it
