Yeah, I'm waiting for the full details before adding the Jaws news. Should have them this week along with the artwork though...

Sorry to tell you, but there is word that this show may not return and be cancelled. Apparently the decision is right on the fence now. If that happens, who knows if they'll bank on a second DVD set.

What about "Simpsons Season 6"? I remember hearing it was coming out June 16th, but there's been no word since.

Dread Central reports that David Cronenberg’s DEAD RINGERS will receive a new DVD from Warner Home Entertainment June 7. Previously available on an out-of-print Criterion Collection disc, the movie will be given a new 1.85 anamorphic transfer, plus Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 audio, and come with audio commentary by star Jeremy Irons, a behind-the-scenes featurette, interviews with the cast and crew, and a "DEAD RINGERS Psychological Profile" featurette. Retail price has yet to be announced.

Lotsa news today from the horror hounds over at Lions Gate Home Entertainment. The company just announced that it will release Mary Harron’s AMERICAN PSYCHO on a new KILLER COLLECTOR’S EDITION DVD (retail price: $19.98) June 21. Previously released by both Lions Gate and Universal Home Entertainment, the movie (starring Christian Bale as upscale murderer Patrick Bateman) will be accompanied by the following extras:
• Audio commentary by director Harron and screenwriter Guinevere Turner
• Audio commentary by the cast and crew
• On-set interviews
• Behind-the-scenes footage
• Deleted scenes
• "Postcards from the ’80s," an exploration of the commercial culture that defines Bateman’s character
The company has another new edition of a disc previously released by others on the way: a fresh DVD of Takashi Miike’s benchmark shocker AUDITION, due in August. In addition to the ported-over extras from Ventura’s disc (Miike’s selected scene commentary and appearance at the American Cinematheque, photo gallery, etc.), original features will include a new on-camera interview with Miike and special introduction, plus a chat with original story writer Ryu Murakami. If negotiations pan out with Bravo, the DVD will also add on the AUDITION segment from the cable channel’s 100 SCARIEST MOVIE MOMENTS.
Fango has also learned that the company’s release of MAN-THING on DVD, coming June 14, will not sport any DVD extras save trailers. Finally, we mentioned a little while back that CHRONICLE OF THE RAVEN (a.k.a. JENNIFER’S SHADOW), out May 31, will have audio commentary, and now we know who it’s by: lead actresses Faye Dunaway and Gina (JEEPERS CREEPERS) Philips.
