Crash & Hotel Rwanda!
As far as the movies I've seen this year? I'd go with:
1. Batman Begins
2. Kingdom of Heaven
3. History of Violence
4. 40 Year Old Virgin
5. Corpse Bride
6. Charlie and The Chocolate Factory
I'd still love to catch Wallace and Gromit though! I'm sure I might add Jarhead and King Kong later when I see them.

Best of 2005 so far........
General Movies - Batman Begins and Sin City (gotta love this movie!!)
Oscarwise - Cinderella Man...and hopefully All the King's Men
Although I don't expect something big from Peter Jackson this year at the Oscar...I have a feeling that King Kong might be an unexpect-sweeper this year!

If I see a better movie than A History of Violence this year I will be surprised!
I might think of seeing Jarhead and Walk the Line. I'm sure one of them are to have an oscar nomination.
Im thinking that King Kong may be added to my list later this year
Has to be Cinderella Man. I hope it won't be overlooked at next year's Oscars.
Dare I say Serenity?
A History in Violence
Batman Begins
40 Year Old Virgin
Serenity
Batman Begins
40 Year Old Virgin
Serenity
Episode 3 followed closely by Sin City then Charlie and Batman
Right On. I agree with this. It is too early to vote.
I haven't seen the other movies on my list...
Flightplan
Harry Potter 4
The Weather Man
In Her Shoes
& a few others
So Far, my fave is Stealth, only because the DTS sound was really good.
But story wise, my fave is "The Interpreter".

My vote went to Batman Begins. What movie it was...

Cinderella Man, Batman Begins, Sin City
I voted Sin City,

1. Grizzly Man
2. Enron
3. Kung Fu Hustle
4. A History Of Violence
5. Thumbsucker

Quote: It's amazing how Hustle and Flow and The Constant Gardener made it on the list
Both Hustle and Flow and The Constant Gardner were very good movies. I hate rap music, but was drawn into Hustle and Flow.

Crash was a fairly good film too. It's amazing how Hustle and Flow and The Constant Gardener made it on the list
So far for me, only two movies have been any good.
Sin City and Batman Begins.

Sin City and Batman Begins.

A Bit early isn't it? Most of the best movies for 2005 aren't even out. How can you have an award ceremony for this year in October? There will probably be another one for the remainder.
Anyway, I voted for Sin City.
