This from a guy who thinks Hulk is great while The Goonies and Back to the Future suck Wink

I hadn't actually seen Shawshank until it was on TBS one day and I just kept watching it. The next day I liked it so much, I bought the first DVD release.

Goodfellas and The Godfather are must watches too.

Bladerunner I was TOTALLY disapointed in. The eyecandy of the city was nice, but that was all I liked.

I was just looking at AFI's 100 movies thing, it would be easier to show what I HAVE seen by bolding it. The rest I either haven't seen, or have only seen bits and pieces throughout the years.

Dude. Shawshank is, according to most Americans, the best film of all time. That is what I call overrated. Gone With The Wind is crap too. Of the AFI 100 you haven't seen you must see
5. LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (1962)
7. THE GRADUATE (1967)
13. THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI (1957)
18. PSYCHO (1960)
19. CHINATOWN (1974)
20. ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST (1975)
21. THE GRAPES OF WRATH (1940)
23. THE MALTESE FALCON (1941)
26. DR. STRANGELOVE (1964)
27. BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967)
33. HIGH NOON (1952)
41. WEST SIDE STORY (1961)
42. REAR WINDOW (1954)
46. A CLOCKWORK ORANGE (1971)
47. TAXI DRIVER (1976)
50. BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID (1969)
57. THE THIRD MAN (1949)(should be way higher)
59. REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE (1955)
61. VERTIGO (1958)(should be higher)
66. NETWORK (1976)
72. BEN-HUR (1959)
74. THE GOLD RUSH (1925)
76. CITY LIGHTS (1931)
77. AMERICAN GRAFFITI (1973)
80. THE WILD BUNCH (1969)
81. MODERN TIMES (1936)
84. FARGO (1996)
85. DUCK SOUP (1933)
87. FRANKENSTEIN (1931)

My shame is:
8. ON THE WATERFRONT (1954)
and
38. DOUBLE INDEMNITY (1944)
and my disability in watching Casavetties.

No, no, no. It's not at all bad, it just isn't THAT good. Totally worth seeing, but don't feel guilty if you haven't.

Like what? Patriot Games and Devil's Own? Niether is exactly great. Or are you refering to The Crying Game, which was made by an Irishmen and not a Hollywood film?

not seeing Independence Day a second time.

missed Van Helsing.  Great visuals, I just never heard anything about it on tv or anything.  Thought it was gonna be a crummy movie.  Wrong.

Ronin, Blown Away etc etc.

I'm not on about Jordon.

I'm on about Hollywood who don't know fuck all about the troubles in Ireland.

There is some Mexican called Damian Chapa who's going to play an IRA terrorist who believes the only way to achieve Irish independence is through violence.

What's he going to do kill his fellow terrorists, because they were the ones who were derailing the peace process up until now.

But no it'll be the nasty English as usual, fucking wanker.
