Ya know I think I like the trend thats happening where the soundtrack is included with the movie. Usually the soundtrack is hard to find and is around $20 on its own. For $25, getting a special edition movie AND the soundtrack is a bargin in comparison.

I also like the idea of collector's sets on the whole. Some of the disney stuff as an example. The movie alone for $23, but for $35 you get a book, sketches, film frame, etc...

What I DON'T like is passing off a tonne of 5 minute press kit stuff as bonus material. Unless meticulous research was done, access granted ONLY to the DVD producer and materials made available on the DVD alone, its NOT bonus material. It's a fluffy AD for what you just bought.
DTS sound, high quality picture with high bit rate....
Commentaries are a must.

For me, a DVD must have DTS surround sound ( The best sound ever! )

Then I would like deleted scenes, featurettes, behind the scenes, related music videos where possible, audio commentaries.

I'm writing this because there are alot of movies out there on dvd that did not have enough features or could do with better picture and sound!
