Criterion usually takes REALLY good care of their releases for movies that, under a different company, wouldnt give the time of day. even if they were to release the film they would never bother restoring the film as best as can be and throwing on tons of extras. I mean, come on, Equinox, an amature film that I never even heard of before seeing online (which got me to buy it) was a TWO disc set with two different versions of the film tons of extras AND a nice little booklet to top it off. And look at what they did with greats like Seven Samauri, giving it the three disc treatment the film more then deserves.
Also, I have yet to see any of their cover art any less then awesome.....well worth the price tag if you ask me, at least I know I am getting quality.
